Pay: £20-25 (contact time only)

We currently require a Temporary Law Teacher to start immediately.

Candidates must be Enhanced DBS cleared.

Timetable: 

We need cover for five Law classes: four BTEC Applied Law lower classes and one A-level Law lower class.

Four classes on Monday: 8.30- 10.00 (A-level); 10.05-11.35 (BTEC); 12.25-2.00 (BTEC); 2.05-3.35 (BTEC)

Two classes on Tuesday: 10.05-11.35 (BTEC); 11.40-1.10 (BTEC)

Three classes on Wednesday: 10.05-11.35 (BTEC); 11.40-2.00 (with 12.25-1.10 a 45 minutes lunch break) (BTEC); 2.05-3.35 (A-level)

Two classes on Thursday: 11.40-2.00 (with 12.25-1.10 a 45 minute lunch break) (BTEC); 2.05-3.35 (BTEC)

Four classes on Friday: 8.30-10.00 (BTEC); 10.05 -11.35 (BTEC); 12.25-2.00 (A-level); 2.05-3.35 (BTEC)

All five classes are first-year classes and the teacher will start off with two lessons of induction covering the difference between criminal law and civil law and will then be required to teach both the BTEC Applied Law and AQA A-level Law courses. All core resource booklets will be provided to the teacher.

The BTEC course begins with teaching on the criminal and civil court hierarchy, lay people and legal personnel.

The A-level Law course begins with teaching of the Law Making (Judicial Precedent and Statutory Interpretation) and English Legal System topics (criminal courts and sentencing, lay people and legal personnel).
